3 teen boys charged in series of smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies in Peel region

Peel constabulary person charged 3 teens successful transportation with 3 smash-and-grab jewelry store robberies that happened earlier this year. 

The robberies happened astatine buying malls successful Mississauga and Brampton betwixt Jan. 19 and Feb. 4, 2025, Peel constabulary said successful a quality merchandise Thursday. Two occurred successful Mississauga and 1 occurred successful Brampton. 

In each 3 robberies, the suspects rushed into the jewelry store equipped with hammers and pry bars, smashed solid displays and removed merchandise wrong "with nary respect for the information of customers oregon employees," the quality merchandise says. 

The suspects past fled utilizing a stolen car. 

Peel constabulary said Thursday they've present arrested and charged a 16-year-old lad from Toronto, a 17-year-old lad from Nova Scotia, and a 16-year-boy from Kitchener successful transportation with these robberies. 

The 16-year-old from Kitchener is charged with 3 counts of robbery, portion the 17-year-old from Nova Scotia is charged with 2 counts of robbery and the 16-year-old from Toronto is charged with 1 number of robbery, among different charges, the merchandise says.
