Escaped zebra caught on camera running along busy Tennessee roadway as chaos forces lane closures

However, the chiseled black-and-white-striped carnal escaped into a wooded country disconnected Interstate 24, wherever it was "wreaking havoc," betwixt Joe B. Jackson Parkway and the Epps Mill Road exits connected Saturday afternoon, the sheriff's bureau said.

Deputy Ryan Keach located the zebra adjacent the interstate and unopen down 1 lane of postulation for travelers’ safety, the sheriff's bureau told Fox News Digital. 

"After the zebra crossed the interstate, deputies closed some the eastbound lanes toward Chattanooga and the westbound lanes toward Nashville," the bureau said.
