Prison officer stabbed at high-security facility

A situation serviceman has been airlifted to infirmary aft being stabbed astatine a high-security men's prison.

West Mercia Police said officers were called to HMP Long Lartin successful South Littleton, Worcestershire, soon aft 10am connected Friday morning.

The 25-year-old "sustained superior injuries and was airlifted to hospital," the unit added. They are inactive successful hospital, but successful a unchangeable condition.
