Chelsea face Wolves in the Premier League with several players for both clubs expected to miss the fixture

Both Chelsea and Wolves will have players unavailable for this weekend's Premier League fixture.

The Blues will host Wolves at Stamford Bridge in the Saturday Night Football as they aim to return to winning ways following their stalemate in midweek.

Enzo Maresca's side were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with Qarabag in the Champions League on Wednesday night, but did beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in their previous Premier League match last weekend.

Chelsea are seventh in the top-flight standings and will be determined to beat a Wolves team that are without a manager and are yet to win their first Premier League match of the season.

Maresca will be forced to name a Chelsea team with some players unavailable for selection.

Cole Palmer is still expected to miss the clash with Wolves as he recovers from a groin injury, while Benoit Badiashile is also expected to be unavailable until after the international break, at the earliest.

Romeo Lavia is the latest name to be added to Chelsea's injury list, with the midfielder picking up a muscle injury during the draw with Qarabag in midweek and will not be available to face Wolves.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

"We feel a shame for him [Lavia], especially for him," Maresca said about Lavia's injury earlier this week. "He's not able to be fit for a long, long period. We will see now. It's too early to understand what kind of injury. I think it's his quad."

Pedro Neto may also be a doubt for Chelsea after the forward was not involved in the draw with Qarabag on Wednesday night after picking up a calf injury against Tottenham last week.

Levi Colwill and Dario Essugo remain on the sidelines in recovery with their long-term injuries.

For Wolves, they will also have some players on the sidelines for the clash with Chelsea.

Rodrigo Gomes underwent surgery on an injury earlier this week and is not expected to return until the New Year. Matt Doherty is also on the sidelines for Wolves ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge.

Leon Chiwome is also ruled out with a long-term injury, while Emmanuel Agbadou is unavailable as he serves a suspension for the red card he picked up in the 3-0 defeat to Fulham last weekend.
