Tottenham don't have much time to reflect on their latest Premier League triumph, as attention quickly shifts from the domestic league to the Champions League. Spurs ran out 2-0 winners over Brentford last time out, as goals from Richarlison and Xavi Simons lifted a bit of pressure off Thomas Frank.

The manager will know that the wins need to keep flowing if he is to unite the Tottenham fans behind his team once again. Another home game provides an ideal opportunity to do that, as they take on Slavia Prague in the Champions League.

The Lilywhites sit 16th in the league phase table, having picked up eight points from the opening five games of the competition. Frank will need a good run of form to land a top-eight finish, which would put his side straight into the round of 16, avoiding another knockout round in the process.

On the other side of it, Spurs also need to avoid being dragged into a battle for qualification in the top 24, as just two points separate them from dropping out at this early stage. It presents a dilemma for the manager regarding how to approach the game during such a busy period.

Will he risk rotating with the possibility that the side aren't at their best, putting their Champions League hopes at risk, or will he go with his full strength team and risk the chance of further injuries? It remains to be seen, but either way, both a win and no fresh injuries will be key for Frank to come out of the game.

Both teams have some injury concerns, so with that said, here's a look at the players who could be missing for them heading into the tie.

Tottenham injury absences for Slavia Prague

While injury issues have eased lately for Tottenham, they are still set to miss seven players through concerns of their own against Slavia Prague. Destiny Udogie is the latest to pick up a problem, though there is some hope that he could be back in action very soon.

Speaking after Tottenham's win over Brentford, Frank said: "Destiny got a soft tissue injury, unfortunately." before adding that he won't be out for "too long". It certainly makes him a major doubt, however, to play in midweek.

Beyond him, there is a continued absence for Dominic Solanke, with the manager claiming that he wants to ease him back into the side when ready, as to avoid another setback. Both Radu Dragusin and Kota Takai are working their way back from injuries, but they are ineligible due to squad registration rules.

Yves Bissouma remains out with a knee problem, while he also isn't registered for the Champions League squad, while James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski remain long-term absences.

Slavia Prague's injury issues before Tottenham clash

Slavia Prague sit 31st in the 36-team Champions League table, without a win to their name and with three draws picked up in five games. They have already faced English opposition this season, as north London rivals Arsenal travelled there and won 3-0 earlier in the campaign.

Spurs will be looking to go one step further, while Slavia Prague are without a few key players within their team. Petr Sevcik is recovering from an ACL injury, which will keep him sidelined for a little while longer.

Dominik Javorcek is another player with a knee injury. The defender wasn't named in the Champions League squad for this season, as a return isn't expected until the new year.

Oscar is also likely to miss out, having picked up a muscular injury last month that he is yet to return from.
