Chelsea play host to Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, but Liam Rosenior could be without a number of key players. The Blues boss has had to navigate his fair share of injuries since taking up tenure in the wake of Enzo Maresca's departure last month, and this weekend's Premier League clash will see more of the same. However, Chelsea are not alone with regards to sidelined stars at present. Scott Parker's struggles with the Clarets in 2025/26 have only been amplified by a number of players being ruled out for parts of the season with their own issues. With an action-packed afternoon in west London to look forward to, football.london brings you the latest injury news from both sides of the pitch... FOLLOW OUR CHELSEA FB PAGE! Marc Cucurella

Speaking about Marc Cucurella's situation on Thursday, Rosenior said: "Again, I can't give an exact time frame on Marc. He's suffered a hamstring injury. He suffered it before half-time in the Leeds game. For me, it's a real shame, because he's an outstanding player. He's one of the best left-backs in the world."

Jamie Gittens suffered a tear to his hamstring against West Ham at the end of January. Rosenior said earlier this month that it looked to be "a bit more long-term."

Despite playing second-fiddle to Robert Sanchez in 2025/26, Filip Jorgensen has been out of action since a Champions League clash with Pafos in January. Earlier this week, the goalkeeper took to Instagram to write: "Rehab days, back on the pitch soon," although Burnley could come a touch too soon.

Romeo Lavia

Romeo Lavia played a part in Chelsea U21s' 2-2 draw with Leeds United on Friday as he continues to recover from a thigh injury. Given he was swapped out at half-time, he remains a little way from match fitness.
