Arsenal face their next Premier League test at Everton, hoping to secure themselves at the top of the table by the time Christmas Day rolls around.
This weekend will be the final round of fixtures before the festive period and if the Gunners do remain leaders of the pack, it puts them in a typically good position to go on and win the title come May. In 11 of the last 16 seasons, the team top at Christmas have become champions.
Only a positive result against Everton will ensure that - something that has often eluded Mikel Arteta in his time as Arsenal manager.
The Spaniard has lost to his former club three times in fixtures on Merseyside. However, they took place at Goodison Park, and now the Gunners have a new challenge of conquering a new venue - Everton's brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
If they are to do it, they are set to be without several key players in defence. That said, it is not only Arteta juggling his available players, as David Moyes also faces a selection crisis this December.
With that, football.london examines up to 13 stars who could miss this weekend's Premier League clash.
