Manchester City and Newcastle United will be missing 15 players between them for their League Cup semi-final clash.
Pep Guardiola's side have one foot in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley going into the second-leg of the tie. City overcame Eddie Howe's side 2-0 at St. James' Park in the first match, and will be confident of seeing out the contest at the Etihad Stadium.
But the Cityzens have been rocked by injuries, as have Newcastle, who are dealing with several issues of their own. Moreover, the Geordies may also be boosted by City's second half capitulation away against Tottenham.
There appeared to be little danger when City went into half time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium leading 2-0, courtesy of goals from Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo. But a second-half brace saw the Cityzens drop two vital points in north London.
They may wish to take their anger out on the Toon, who were beaten 4-1 at Anfield by Liverpool. Manchester Evening News takes a look at who may be missing for both sides when they step out onto the pitch at the Etihad Stadium.
