The international break is nearly over, and attention is gradually shifting back to the Premier League, with Arne Slot's focus squarely on preparing for Burnley.
Liverpool's challenge will be to secure three points at Turf Moor to maintain a flawless start to the season. With players departing for national duty, there's always a question mark over who will be fit enough to vie for a place in the starting line-up upon their return.
The unease won't lift until Liverpool's stars are back in Merseyside under the watchful eyes of Slot and his team. However, it seems the Dutch coach will have a largely healthy squad to choose from ahead of the journey to Lancashire, as several players are nearing a return or already at peak fitness for the encounter.
Alexander Isak
Liverpool's record signing made his first appearance of the season, coming off the bench in Sweden's World Cup qualifying defeat to Kosovo on Monday.
Isak joined the fray with 72 minutes gone but couldn't help his side overturn a deficit, picking up only a yellow card during his initial time on the pitch this term.
Nonetheless, it's a positive development for the 25-year-old, who could now be in contention to face the Clarets. However, given the limited time he's had to train with his new Reds colleagues, it's uncertain whether he'll be thrown into the starting line-up.

Conor Bradley
The Northern Ireland defender acquitted himself admirably in the defeat to Germany as he witnessed Florian Wirtz's spectacular goal from close quarters. Bradley managed to complete the full 90 minutes, but not without a bit of a scare.
The defender needed some attention for a facial injury during the match, but was able to carry on, giving Liverpool manager Slot little cause for concern.

Jeremie Frimpong
The attacking full-back stayed at Liverpool rather than linking up with the Netherlands following his absence from the Reds' last two fixtures through injury.
Slot confirmed that the Dutch international would remain sidelined until after the international break. The hamstring problem has allowed Dominik Szoboszlai to deliver two exceptional displays as his replacement.
"The medical team was completely right about Jeremie to tell me that I had to take him off, because he is out until the end of the international break," he said in August. "So, a good call to take him off; otherwise, he would have maybe been out for longer."
That would position Frimpong to be available for selection this weekend as a more thoroughly rested player than his teammates, perhaps.

Ibrahima Konate
The France center-back was withdrawn during Liverpool's most recent Premier League encounter after requiring a substitution against Arsenal.
Konate was nevertheless selected for international duty with France and played the full 90 minutes in their victory over Ukraine on Friday. The 26-year-old will again be expected to feature against Iceland on Tuesday.
