Liverpool has been linked with several players in January, but the Reds are yet to sign anyone as we approach the final week of the winter transfer window

January never sees anything like the amount of business taking place as a summer transfer window does, but there have been a few notable deals involving Premier League clubs that have taken place this month.
Manchester City have signed a couple of big-name stars, while Crystal Palace signed Brennan Johnson and Tottenham signed Conor Gallagher.
One of the clubs yet to sign anybody is Liverpool — and that should perhaps come as little surprise, considering the amount the club spent last summer.
However, that doesn't mean the Reds haven't been linked with anybody, because they certainly have! Here's the situation surrounding the main players they have been linked with...

RB Leipzig winger Diomande has emerged as one of the most exciting forwards in the world, reportedly attracting interest from a host of top clubs around Europe.
Liverpool is in the market for a new wide forward after selling Luis Diaz and missing out on Antoine Semenyo, while the club must also consider that Mohamed Salah will turn 34 this year.
The 19-year-old Diomande, who has registered seven goals and four assists in 18 appearances for Leipzig, recently said that it was a dream of his to play for Liverpool.
Although there is a good chance that Diomande will leave Leipzig in 2026, a winter move doesn't appear to be on the cards, with a summer exit more likely.
Marc Guehi
Well, we know Liverpool won't be signing this player — ultimately, the Reds just could make the finances involved in a deal to sign Guehi work.
Guehi is believed to have signed a contract with a salary of £300,000 ($400,000) per week at Manchester City after the Etihad Stadium club struck a deal with Crystal Palace to sign the England international.
Guehi would've been a great addition to the Liverpool squad, but the Reds must now switch their focus elsewhere in their pursuit of a new center-back.

Alessandro Bastoni
Bastoni has been one of the best defenders in Serie A for some time now, and there were suggestions over the weekend that he was keen on a new challenge outside of Italy.
The 26-year-old has two and a half years remaining on his contract with Inter Milan, but, much like the case is with Diomande, it seems more likely that Bastoni would move on in the summer.
Antoine Semenyo
Another player Liverpool was heavily linked with but ended up joining Manchester City this month, Semenyo has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season.
City triggered the release clause in Semenyo's contract, leaving Liverpool to look elsewhere. Diomande could be the player that the Reds end up signing instead.
