6 more Liverpool players who could be sold this summer including Darwin Nunez

The ongoing transformation of Liverpool's attack continues apace.

The latest development is Luis Diaz's impending move to Bayern Munich, following an agreement on an $88 million deal, marking another step in the summer revamp being orchestrated by Arne Slot. Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes have been industriously preparing the squad for their Premier League title defence during the transfer window, having already committed over $300 million to new signings, with more expected to join.

However, the club's owner, Fenway Sports Group, is known for its shrewdness when it comes to player sales. It's likely that more players will follow Diaz out of the exit before the September 1 deadline.

Completed deals

Diaz is set to be the latest senior player to leave Liverpool this summer, with Bayern finalizing a deal for the 28-year-old Colombian winger.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was the first to depart during the initial transfer window in early June, after Real Madrid agreed to shell out £8.4 million ($11.2 million) for a player who would have been a free agent a month later, purely so he could participate in the FIFA Club World Cup. Unfortunately, Alexander-Arnold sustained an injury as Madrid was trounced in the semifinals by Paris Saint-Germain.

Caoimhin Kelleher soon followed, moving to Brentford in an £18 million ($24 million) deal, while later in the month, Nat Phillips transferred to Championship side West Brom in a £3 million ($4 million) deal.

Harvey Elliott could seek more regular first-team soccer this summer

July kicked off with Jarell Quansah making a switch to Bayer Leverkusen, a move that could potentially net Liverpool a cool £35 million ($46.7 million).

Several loan deals have already been finalized, with Vitezslav Jaros set to spend the season at Ajax, fellow shot-stopper Harvey Davies heading to League Two outfit Crawley Town, and left-back Owen Beck joining Championship side Derby.

Potential upcoming deals

With Diaz's departure imminent, focus will now shift to the rest of Liverpool's forward line and potential departures as the Reds contemplate a move for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.

Darwin Nunez is the most prized asset and looks set to depart despite a promising start to preseason. AC Milan is keeping tabs on the situation, but Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal currently seems the more likely suitors, with Liverpool demanding over £50 million ($66.7 million) for the Uruguayan.

Federico Chiesa is keen on a return to Italy ahead of next summer's World Cup, with several Serie A clubs showing interest. Ideally, the Reds would like to recoup the £12.5 million ($16.7 million) they shelled out to bring the 27-year-old from Juventus last year.

Ben Doak, who had a successful loan spell at Middlesbrough in the Championship last season, is attracting attention from several clubs, including Nottingham Forest. Liverpool values the young talent at around £25 million ($33.4 million)

In the midfield, Harvey Elliott has confessed that he may need to reassess his future at Liverpool, with his playing time potentially reduced further due to the arrival of Florian Wirtz, who favours the No. 10 role.

Despite interest from Forest earlier this summer, Elliott reportedly held firm, with West Ham and his former club Fulham among those contemplating a bid.

Tyler Morton, who, alongside Elliott, helped England retain the U21 Euros this summer, didn't get a single minute of Premier League action last season and is on the radar of both Lyon and West Ham.

Furthermore, an excess of left-backs could result in either Andy Robertson or Kostas Tsimikas departing. Earlier in the summer, Atletico Madrid expressed interest in Robertson before opting for Matteo Ruggeri from Atalanta.
