Aberdeen v Motherwell postponed after heavy rain

Aberdeen's Scottish Cup fifth-round tie with Motherwell on Saturday evening has been postponed after heavy rain in the north-east.

It's the second evening fixture at Pittodrie this week to be called off, with the Dons' Wednesday' Premiership game with Celtic also falling victim to the weather. That game has been rearranged for the evening of Wednesday, 4 March.

Aberdeen v Motherwell in the cup does not have a confirmed new date as yet.

Seven other Scottish Cup ties are scheduled across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with no current weather concerns over those matches.

Airdrieonians host St Mirren on Friday (19:45 GMT), with that game live on BBC Scotland, iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.
