Northern Super League-leading AFC Toronto secured their 15th win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Calgary Wild FC 2-1.

AFC Toronto defeated Calgary 2-1 Saturday in NSL action as Cloey Uddenberg's goal proves to be the winner.

Cloey Uddenberg scored the eventual winner in the 34th minute as the Northern Super League-leading AFC Toronto defeated the Calgary Wild FC 2-1 on Saturday.

Uddenberg's goal put Toronto (15-6-3) ahead 2-0 before Jorian Baucom put Calgary (7-14-2) on the board in first-half stoppage time.

Kaylee Hunter also scored for Toronto in the 19th minute.

The Northern Super League co-founder talks about the championship trophy that was named in her honour. The Diana B. Matheson Cup will be awarded after the league's first-ever Final on Nov. 15 at Toronto's BMO Field.

Toronto, which is currently on a six-game unbeaten run (4-0-2), hasn't lost a game since Aug. 17, a 1-0 decision against Vancouver.

Meanwhile, Calgary has lost six of its last seven, having last won on Aug. 16, 1-0 against Halifax.

Toronto will next play against Montreal at home on Sunday, Oct. 19. Calgary will next host Halifax next Saturday.
