Alan Pardew predicts which Premier League club Harry Kane will join next amid Tottenham links

Alan Pardew believes Harry Kane could return to the Premier League, but not with Tottenham Hotspur.

Harry Kane remains one of the finest strikers in world football, and even at 32, his finishing and overall play continue to set him apart from most forwards.

It comes as no surprise that Thomas Frank has welcomed the idea of a potential return for Kane to Tottenham Hotspur, although he admits such a move is not likely in the immediate future.

The England captain appears settled in Germany for now, with Kane himself making it clear that a move away from Bayern Munich is not currently on his mind.

Alan Pardew predicts Premier League return for Harry Kane but not to Tottenham

With two years left on his contract and the possibility of being available for less than £60 million, speculation surrounding Kane’s future has only intensified.

The England captain’s pursuit of Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goalscoring record remains a key talking point, and Alan Pardew, speaking on talkSPORT, shared his view on the matter.

Tottenham reportedly hold the first right to re-sign Kane in 2026 should he decide to leave Germany, but Bayern Munich’s sporting director has refused to rule out the prospect of Kane extending his stay in the Bundesliga.

The former Newcastle United manager believes Kane could yet return to England to chase the record, but not in a Tottenham shirt.

“Yeah, I can see that. But you think he’ll do it in a Spurs shirt, not another shirt. I think Man United,” Pardew said.

Kane’s record chase and Spurs’ transition under Frank

Harry Kane is just 48 goals shy of breaking Alan Shearer’s record, with the England captain having scored 213 times in the Premier League with Tottenham compared to the Newcastle legend’s 260.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are in a period of transition under Thomas Frank, with the club making steady progress after their Europa League triumph and recent investments in the squad.

A return to north London would undoubtedly feel like a fairy-tale conclusion for Kane, offering the chance to finally lift silverware with his boyhood club while surpassing Shearer’s record and cementing his legacy as the greatest striker in Premier League history.
