Chelsea beat Wolverhampton Wanderers thanks to two assists from Alejandro Garnacho, the summer signing's first in the Premier League since leaving Manchester United
Alejandro Garnacho provided two assists for Chelsea against Wolverhampton Wanderers just hours after Ruben Amorim expressed frustration that Manchester United failed to hold on and beat Tottenham Hotspur.
Garnacho started and impressed at Stamford Bridge. The winger registered his first two Premier League assists since leaving Man United with a pair of deliveries from the left wing.
His first was a pinpoint ball onto the head of Malo Gusto, who nodded it in from close range to put the Blues in front. The second completed a clinical counterattack, setting up Pedro Neto to score against his former team and extend the lead to 3-0.
Enzo Maresca was full of praise for the summer signing post-match. "He's doing very well on the ball," the Chelsea coach said, "but he's doing very, very well off the ball.
"He knows that to play with us, he has to be good on the ball and off the ball; otherwise, he's not going to play. We are very happy with him at this moment."

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.
Alan Shearer also spotlighted his performance on Match of the Day. "I was really impressed with him. He scored in midweek (against Qarabag in the Champions League).
"I think it was his best game today. he caused problems all evening down the left-hand side.
"Whoever was coming up against him, he had more pace than them; he went past them with ease, and he was a real threat in putting balls, good balls, into the box for his forwards, and of course, they benefited from that. I thought he looked really, really comfortable."
Hours earlier in north London, Amorim was lamenting United for feeling comfortable when 1-0 up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Bryan Mbeumo gave United the lead shortly after the half-hour mark, but they were unable to extend their advantage.
Mathys Tel levelled for Spurs late on, and the hosts subsequently went ahead through Richarlison. Matthijs de Ligt's equaliser secured a point from the fixture, but United were in front for 52 of the 98 minutes, behind for merely five of them.
Amorim acknowledged afterwards that victory was within reach. "I think, if you see the game, you feel that the three points were there to take home," he said, before reiterating: "If you look at the game and if you feel the environment, we have so much to grow as a team, because today was our day to win this game."
Amorim added: "I think it's more we need to look at ourselves. We were not pressing with the same intensity because we felt comfortable.
"We need to understand that, but to feel also that, if we have a little bit more bravery, we can kill this game."
He concluded: "We need to feel the environment of the game and feel that the opponent is nervous, so we need to kill the game and not wait until the end."
