Finally, Arsenal have got their man and Viktor Gyokeres is set to be announced as a new player for the north London side very soon. The player is due to undergo a medical before being expected to join his new teammates for pre-season.
Plenty of interested fans yearn to know when the Swede might make his debut for the club. The Gunners’ next match is as close as Sunday when they face Newcastle United in Singapore. He might not be the only Swedish striker on the move, however.
Alexander Isak has reportedly asked to explore a transfer away from Newcastle this summer and will not be involved in the match this weekend. Mikel Arteta is a known admirer of Isak, but many are asking whether the club has the budget or space to consider a move.
