Alexis Mac Allister has sparked concerns of a fresh injury woe after he was replaced at half-time in Liverpool's Premier League game against Burnley.
The midfielder was on the receiving end of a strong challenge from Lesley Ugochukwu in the 16th minute. Mac Allister was caught high on the ankle by the former Chelsea man and on another day it could have bee a straight red card for Ugochukwu.
Mac Allister was treated on the pitch as play was stopped for several minutes. He appeared to be moving a little gingerly when the match continued, but managed to finish the the first half.
However, the World Cup winner didn't make it out for the start of the second period and was replaced by Conor Bradley.
The Northern Irishman lined up at right-back, with Dominik Szoboszlai moving into the midfield role vacated by Mac Allister.
