Alisson Becker and Wataru Endo have been spotted at Liverpool’s training ground in what could be an encouraging injury update on the duo.
Alisson is expected to miss more games following the October international break, having been forced off during the Champions League defeat to Galatasaray with a hamstring injury. The goalkeeper sat out the subsequent loss to Chelsea, with Giorgi Mamardashvili stepping in for his Premier League debut.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot was unable to give a specific timescale for Alisson’s recovery, with concerns raised given the Brazilian has already had a number of absences in recent years due to injury.
"[The timescale] depends also on how fast a recovery goes,” Slot explained earlier before the Chelsea game.
“So, Saturday it’s clear, he’s not going to play for Brazil, and I would be surprised if he would be there in the first game after the international break.
"But from there on, sometimes things can go a bit faster or a bit slower. It’s always difficult to say the amount of days and weeks, but for the upcoming games he will not be part of us or the Brazil team."

Ahead of Liverpool’s return to action against Manchester United on Sunday, Alisson has been spotted at the Reds’ AXA Training Centre alongside fellow injury concern Endo.
The midfielder pulled out of Japan’s squad for the international break, having also picked up a hamstring issue during the defeat to Chelsea.
The pair were pictured by teammate Curtis Jones watching Japan’s friendly against Brazil at Liverpool’s training ground, with the midfielder posting the photo to his story on Instagram. Japan came from 2-0 down to beat Brazil 3-2, and record its first-ever victory over the five-time world champions.
Endo and Alisson’s presence at the Reds’ training ground may offer up some encouragement as Slot waits to see how his side is shaping up ahead of Sunday’s game against United.
Ibrahima Konate was sent home early by France after picking up a quad injury against Chelsea, while Ryan Gravenberch raised concerns after being forced off at half-time of the Netherlands’ 4-0 win over Finland on Sunday.
Despite Ronald Koeman revealing Gravenberch had been complaining about a hamstring problem, the midfielder would go on play down the issue.
"It was partly fitness related,” Gravenberch said. "The season is long, so it was a precaution. I'm feeling good, and I have the coach's confidence."
