Arsenal have splashed the cash on seven new additions this summer, but sporting director Andrea Berta seems to have suggested that more additions are on the way. The Gunners added Eberechi Eze to their capture list over the weekend, with the England international joining from Crystal Palace in a deal worth £67.5m.
Eze has followed Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga through the door. But after the announcement of Eze's move, from south to north London, the club's sporting director has seemingly hinted that Mikel Arteta's side still have more deals to be done.
The club have seen six players leave this summer, but raising cash may be the next task. Gabriel Martinelli appears to be a viable option, with Gabriel Jesus also being loosely linked with an exit in recent weeks.
"There has been excellent teamwork across the club to make this transfer happen - and we are very confident Eberechi will be an important addition to our squad as we continue to build for success," said Berta after Eze's capture was made public.
Questions have been raised over Arsenal's left side, especially with Leandro Trossard extending his stay at the club until 2027. The biggest rumour remains over Real Madrid forward Rodrygo, who is known to be on the radar of both Liverpool and the Gunners.
It's a tough predicament for Arteta to be in, given he has shown so much faith in his current squad that have come so close over the last three seasons.

"That's what we need," said the head coach when asked about squad depth after Arsenal's 5-0 win over Leeds.
"I think the other way is not realistic to survive at the levels that we want for 10 months because none of the other top teams in the league do it. So we're going to be different.
"They still have even bigger squads than we have. So that's the minimum that we can have to compete and be able to do what we want."
