Andrea Berta's first Arsenal signing linked with shock exit after just one appearance

Kepa Arrizabalaga has been linked with a shock move away from Arsenal less than three months after signing for the club from Chelsea in the summer.

The Gunners brought the goalkeeper to the Emirates Stadium in the summer after triggering his £5million release clause. Kepa spent last season on loan at Bournemouth after previously having a spell at Real Madrid.

He arrived as David Raya's back-up, and on Wednesday night, he made his debut for the club against Port Vale in the EFL Cup. The Spaniard kept a clean sheet and helped Mikel Arteta's side cruise to a 2-0 win.

Kepa was one of eight new arrivals in the summer, with Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres, and Noni Madueke all already showing their worth. Starts are expected to be limited for Kepa, and his involvement is set to come in cup competitions.

However, it has been reported that ex-Arsenal favourite Cesc Fabregas is keen on bringing the goalkeeper to Como in Serie A. Sports Boom has claimed that Fabregas wants the 30-year-old to be his new number one.

The report states that the Italian side hopes the project in Lombardy can 'lure' Kepa and convince him to make a move in January. After four matches, Como is on seven points and has been predicted to challenge for Europe this season.

In the summer, they signed Alex Valle from Barcelona, Nicolas Kuhn from Celtic, Maximo Perrone from Manchester City and Jesus Rodriguez from Real Betis. Jean Butez is Fabregas' current first-choice goalkeeper after signing from Royal Antwerp in January.

However, Kepa isn't expected to be keen on leaving the Emirates Stadium any time soon. After signing from Chelsea, the goalkeeper discussed his ambition to be part of Arteta's ambition to bring success to the club.

"We're here to win. I think we have a great team," he said. "I think we have great staff around here, the best facilities, so we have to prepare ourselves for this season and to have success.

"When I talk with Mikel [Artet]a and Inaki [Cana], they show me their desire to win. They showed me this ambition, how much they want to improve, how much they want to grow and I'm really here to help, to push and to win more."
