Andrea Berta still has five Arsenal transfers to seal for Mikel Arteta after Piero Hincapie deal

10 hours ago 30

Piero Hincapie is set to become the latest player to join Arsenal this summer. It has been an extremely busy summer at the Emirates Stadium so far with Andrea Berta securing seven new signings for the Gunners.

Hincapie will become the eighth once his move from Bayer Leverkusen is finalised. football.london understands the Ecuador international will join Arsenal on a season-long loan deal, with the north London club having a £45million option to buy him next summer as part of their agreement with the German side.

Hincapie has not signed on the dotted line in time for Sunday's Premier League encounter against Liverpool, meaning his Arsenal debut could arrive in their first game after the international break when they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday, September 13.

It could be a busy couple of days for Arsenal as they have until 7pm on Monday evening to complete any remaining business in the summer transfer market. So what other deals does Berta still have to wrap up before the window closes for business until January? football.london takes a look below:

Jakub Kiwior

With Hincapie coming in through the door at the Emirates Stadium, Jakub Kiwior will exit to secure a move to Portuguese side Porto. The Poland international has been unable to become an Arsenal regular during his time in the capital, although he did produce some big performances at the end of last season when Gabriel Magalhaes was missing through injury.

Kiwior's move to Porto could see Arsenal bring in a fee of €27million (£23.4million) in total.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko's time at Arsenal could come to an end before Monday's 7pm deadline. The Ukrainian has fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta and he has failed to make the matchday squad in the past two games.

The Athletic have reported that Zinchenko could be set to make the move to French giants Marseille.

Fabio Vieira

Fabio Vieira is another player who does not have a long-term future at Arsenal. The player's move from Porto has just not worked out at all and it came as no surprise to see him return to his previous club on loan last season.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Bundesliga side Stuttgart but a transfer has yet to come to fruition for all parties so far despite ongoing talks. The hope will be that terms can be agreed on and Vieira gets a move to help get his career back on track.

Reiss Nelson

Injury unfortunately disrupted Reiss Nelson's time at Fulham last season and he desperately needs a move before deadline day. Nelson could be set to stay in the capital once again with Crystal Palace his potential destination.

Eberechi Eze's big-money move to Crystal Palace one week ago has boosted the club's coffers and some of that money may in fact go straight back to Arsenal if a permanent deal for the attacker can be agreed on.

Albert Sambi Lokonga

Albert Sambi Lokonga still remains an Arsenal player as we head into the final few hours of the transfer window. He is another player who does not have a future at the club and requires a permanent transfer for the sake of his career.

Arsenal have to try and find a solution as it's no good for all parties for Lokonga to not be playing.
