Arsenal's transfer business has been fairly quiet over the last couple of weeks.
Since signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon - at the end of July - the Gunners are yet to bring in any new signings or sanction any major departures.
There have been six new signings made by Arsenal so far this summer - including new No.14 Gyokeres - with Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera and Kepa Arrizabalaga also making moves to the Emirates Stadium.
Since signing Gyokeres, much of the speculation has centred around Arsenal, potentially, signing a new forward, particularly one who could play on the left wing.
Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze has been heavily linked with signing for Arsenal - but the England international is also reportedly of interest to Tottenham Hotspur with the chances of a move to the Gunners becoming less likely.
As a result, it remains to be seen who Arsenal could sign to strengthen the left wing department. But whoever the Gunners do decide to bring to north London, they would have the perfect welcome gift lined up.
When Arsenal confirm a new signing, they often also assign the player a squad number they will wear during their time at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners currently have the iconic No.10 available to new signings, which could be given to a new forward should one be signed. The number has been vacant since Emile Smith Rowe's departure 12 months ago.
It's not just Eze who has been linked with signing for Arsenal before the transfer window closes. Real Madrid star Rodrygo and AC Milan winger Rafael Leao have both been credited as key targets for the Gunners this summer, although it remains to be seen if deals could be completed for either of the duo before the September 1 deadline.
