Andy Robertson has confirmed he will decide on his footballing future before this summer's World Cup, with his time at Liverpool drawing to a close.
The Scotland international has spent nine years at Anfield and, for the majority of that period, has been a regular fixture at left-back. He has previously lifted the Premier League and Champions League trophies, but this season has been forced to accept a reduced role with his playing time diminishing.
Robertson's contract runs out in the summer and speculation emerged in January linking him with a switch to Tottenham. That transfer never came to fruition, but the left-back, who will feature at another major tournament for his nation, has revealed he will settle on his next destination in the coming weeks.

Robertson said: "Will I make a decision before the World Cup? Yeah, that will definitely happen.
"For me, I will makeup my mind before the summer and it's always been in my head that I don't want it hanging over me. I think that's important, I don't think anyone wants that and everyone would be in the same boat.
"If you're out of contract and sign a new contract, or whatever you're doing - you always want that sorted before you go into a big tournament. I have always worked towards that and have been consistent with it. It's only eight or nine weeks, so from now until the end I'll sit down with my family and see what we want.
The Glasgow-born Robertson, a lifelong Celtic supporter, has sparked speculation about a potential switch to Parkhead given his availability.

Celtic's recruitment strategy has faced sustained criticism, but securing a player of his calibre would represent a significant statement for a side potentially facing disappointment in this season's title race.
The Liverpool star sought to deflect questions regarding a possible move, commenting: "It's not really one to talk about (Celtic). Obviously I was at Celtic as a kid and had a season ticket, that's not a secret. But it's not something I really want to get into.
"The options that are on the table for me at the minute will stay private and that's the way I've always done it. People can talk and there's been a lot of talk around it, where I'm going to go next. I've seen it but I stay away from it all now."
