Arsenal are still being linked with a move for Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon, who has also been touted as a transfer target for the likes of Liverpool and Bayern Munich ahead of the summer
Arsenal will reportedly have a potential advantage in the race to sign Newcastle United star Anthony Gordon this summer.
The Gunners have been credited with an interest in signing Gordon over the last few months as various reports emerge about the forward’s future.
Gordon has been in fine form for Newcastle this season, scoring 17 goals across all competitions, including 10 in the Champions League and is behind only Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) and Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) in the tournament’s standings this term.
The summer transfer window does not open for a few more months, but already Arsenal are being linked with a host of potential targets to strengthen their squad ahead of next season, with Gordon one name mentioned on the rumour mill.
Gordon continues to be linked with a move away from Newcastle, and now a fresh update has emerged about the England international’s future.

As a result, that would give Arsenal a potential advantage over other clubs who could be in the running to sign the 25-year-old.
Bayern Munich have also been mentioned in the report as having an interest in Gordon, while Liverpool made an attempt to bring the former Everton forward back to Merseyside back in 2024.
If Gordon was to leave Newcastle, the report claims that the forward could be valued at around £75million, with the versatile winger moving to Tyneside in a deal worth £45million in January 2023.

Gordon has previously spoke about his future at Newcastle, particularly rumours linking him with a move away from St James’ Park.
"About me? I haven't seen them,” Gordon told Chronicle Live earlier this year. “What are they saying?
"It's the same old, same old. I think they just pick names out of a hat. They do (names out of the hat).
"I haven't heard anything; they might want to tell me before they tell you (the media)."
