Antoine Semenyo would reportedly prefer to join Manchester City in January as Liverpool could be left frustrated in its interest in the Bournemouth winger.

Semenyo has been a standout player in the Premier League this season and has been linked with Liverpool since last summer. He has a £65 million ($88M) release clause that comes into effect in the January window, with a host of clubs keen on him including Manchester City and United.

It emerged on Tuesday that Chelsea had also made an initial enquiry to Bournemouth for the Ghana international but The Athletic reports that Semenyo is leaning towards a move to the Etihad.
