Arne Slot delivers Ibrahima Konate and Ryan Gravenberch injury update ahead of Man Utd clash

Arne Slot has provided the latest team news ahead of Liverpool's Premier League encounter against Manchester United this weekend.

The Reds have dealt with several injury uncertainties over the international break, the biggest of which surrounds Ibrahima Konate.

The defender was replaced late on against Chelsea prior to the international break, and had to withdraw from the recent France squad due to a thigh injury.

Meanwhile, Ryan Gravenberch managed just 45 minutes in the Netherlands' win over Finland during the international break.

On the pair, Slot said: "Ryan is completely fit, although we still have to train twice.

"Ibou has come back to us and has started his training with us."

Slot was not asked about Wataru Endo, who failed to meet up the Japan squad during the international break.

Liverpool will definitely be without Alisson against United, with the goalkeeper not expected to return before the November international break after sustaining a leg injury in the defeat against Galatasaray.

Slot would not put a date on the Brazilian's return date, but said Alisson will not be involved in the next Premier League weekend matches.

The Liverpool head coach was also asked about the fitness levels of Alexander Isak, who played 90 minutes twice for Sweden in the last 10 days.

"I think he has had his five, six weeks of pre-season," said Slot. "Fitness-wise I think he is close to the level he needs to be. I think we can judge him from a fair level from now on.

"I think his pre-season is finished. He has played some games 60,70, 80 minutes. Let’s see where he is."

Giovanni Leoni will not play again this season following the serious knee injury he suffered in last month's Carabao Cup win over Southampton.
