Arne Slot gave an injury update on Alexander Isak, Jeremie Frimpong and Ryan Gravenberch ahead of the Premier League encounter against Brentford on Saturday.

All three have been injury concerns in recent days, with Isak starting in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt but he had to be replaced at half-time with a groin issue.

Frimpong also had to be withdraw in the early stages of the Champions League victory in Germany, with the full-back lasting just 17 minutes before he was forced off. As for Gravenberch, the midfield came off in the latter stages of the 2-1 loss to Manchester United last week, which forced him to sit out the Frankfurt match.

Speaking on Friday, ahead of the trip to the Gtech Community Stadium, Slot provided an update on the trio.

"Jeremie is not in a good place. He is definitely not going to play tomorrow or next week. Hamstring injury that will take a while. Alex, not too bad. A question mark for the weekend. That is the same for Ryan. He did not travel with us. We are in today, and let’s see where he is.

Liverpool will also be without Alisson for the match in London, with the goalkeeper's hamstring injury ruling him out for over a month now.

"Alisson is not in the squad, that will take a while," said Slot on Friday.

Giovanni Leoni will not feature again this season due to the ACL tear he suffered in last month's Carabao Cup win over Southampton.
