Arsenal currently lead Manchester City by six points in the Premier League standings with 13 matches left to play

It's approaching crunch time in the Premier League title race and Arsenal currently top the table by six points with 13 matches left to play.

The Gunners also boast a superior goal difference (32 to 27) to City but there is still plenty to play for including a mouthwatering showdown between the two rivals at the Etihad Stadium on April 18.

football.london has had a go at predicting each side's final 13 games to get a feel for how the table could look come the end of the season.

We anticipate Arsenal to finish up as champions with City in second place, six points adrift of the Gunners - the current difference between the sides at this moment in time.

Arsenal

Starting with Thursday's trip to Brentford, we're backing Arsenal to win 2-1 before picking up a 2-0 win at Wolves.

Arsenal should beat Tottenham in the North London Derby (2-0) and we're also tipping them to edge Chelsea 1-0 at home on March 1.

Brighton away is Arsenal's penultimate league match outside of London and we're backing the Gunners to win 2-1 before also beating Bournemouth 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

A draw with City at the Etihad Stadium would not be the worst result and we're also tipping the Gunners to beat Newcastle (1-0) and Fulham (2-1) at home.

Then it's onto the final three Premier League matches, Arsenal should beat West Ham away (2-1), Burnley at home (H) and we think they could draw 2-2 at Crystal Palace on the final day.

Overall, it means they would claim 35 points from their final 13 fixtures, taking their total points tally to 91.

Man City

We're also tipping Manchester City to claim 35 points from their final 13 games and that would see them finish up on 85 points.

We fancy them to go on a six-game winning streak, beating Fulham 2-1 (H), Newcastle 2-0 (H), Leeds 2-1 (A), Nottingham Forest 3-0 (H), West Ham 3-1 (A) and Crystal Palace 2-1 (H).

City then travel to Stamford Bridge and we've predicted that match could finish 2-2. Arsenal then visit the Etihad Stadium and we believe that could finish 1-1.

Beyond that, the Citizens should be able to motor onto five straight victories from Burnley away (3-1), Everton away (2-1), Brentford home (2-0), Bournemouth away (2-1) and Aston Villa (2-1).

Still, it might not quite be enough to get them over the line. A total of 91 points appears to be the magic number for Arsenal that would guarantee them title glory, though it's also absolutely crucial that they avoid defeat at Manchester City and in an ideal world, they win that fixture.

For City, even maximum points would not necessarily guarantee the title because Arsenal could technically win 12 of their remaining 13 games, even if they lost at the Etihad Stadium.
