Arsenal could see their summer spend go north of £300 million if they sign Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen. Over the last few months, sporting director Andrea Berta has successfully made additions in every department with the Gunners' squad depth improving drastically.
Eberechi Eze, meanwhile, officially joined from Crystal Palace just a few days ago and yet could go straight into the team following injury to Martin Odegaard.
While Arteta's focus will be on that huge clash, Berta has a number of tasks and thus looks set for a busy few days. Talks for Jakub Kiwior and Piero Hincapie with Porto and Leverkusen are continuing, respectively, football.london understands.

The permanent sale of Nelson going through and Kiwior joining Porto could place Arsenal in a strong financial position to make a move for Hincapie. Their preference is to sanction a loan deal with an obligation-to-buy, but even if the Gunners are forced to meet his £51 million (€60m) release clause, it could work out as quite the saving.
That is because CIES Football Observatories value the 23-year-old at a maximum of £82m (€95m) which technically means Arsenal would save £31m on that deal.
If not for the release clause in his contract, it is likely that Leverkusen would value him around that and therefore it certainly shows why he is being targeted. Berta's superiority in the transfer window has been highlighted again after Newcastle United's £55m bid for Jorgen Strand Larsen was rejected.
