Arsenal dealt hammer injury blow as Liverpool gets boost in title race

Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is reportedly set to miss the next two months following the injury he suffered against Manchester City on Sunday.

The ex-Chelsea star was replaced at half-time and there were initial fears he had suffered a long-term issue, so claims in The Athletic that he is set to be out for just a few months may come as a relief to Arsenal supporters.

The report states that scans on Monday showed Madueke had avoided an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
