Tom Hiddleston has now revealed whether or not he would like Tottenham Hotspur to be relegated from the Premier League as they continue their fight for survival.
Many Tottenham Hotspur fans will be desperate to see their club get out of what is a precarious situation, as they sit in the bottom three with five games left to play.
But it is not all doom and gloom for the Lilywhites, with two points the difference between them and being above those dreaded dotted lines, with London rivals West Ham United in 17th.
Of course, securing at least nine points in their next five matches could well guarantee Tottenham’s safety, but their performances so far in 2026, where they remain without a win, do little to inspire confidence.

Tottenham relegation fears draw Tom Hiddleston response
Speaking on Sky Sports, Tom Hiddleston has now given his thoughts on Spurs potentially being relegated from the Premier League.
The actor, who is a well-known supporter of rivals Arsenal, shared his thoughts on the pressure Tottenham are facing and how relegation would impact the club, its players and supporters, while also acknowledging the wider effect on the Premier League.
He said: “Obviously it is very difficult for them, for the team, for the club, for the fans and you know such a historic in the Premier League they would be feeling it a bit and there is a different kind of pressure that that club will be feeling over the next five or six weeks that they are in a fight.
“And so you know as someone involved professionally at all in the sport, you know for Spurs fans it is like that is rough and as an Arsenal fan, the season is different without a North London derby so it is a… yeah for Spurs fans I hope the club can turn it around it is a you know that is my feeling about it.”

North London derby importance highlighted as Spurs battle drop
Interestingly, Hiddleston is not the only one connected with Arsenal who would rather Tottenham beat the drop this season.
Samir Nasri wants Spurs to stay in the Premier League despite having played for the Gunners for three seasons, also citing the potential loss of the derby as his reason.
He said, “Even though I played for Arsenal, I would not want Tottenham to be relegated. It is too big a club… we would have lost the derbies.”
Arsenal have been getting the better of Spurs in the last few derbies, but that fixture remains one of the historic ones in the Premier League over the past few years, with both clubs having gone almost half a century without being relegated from the league.
