Jurrien Timber has been included in Holland's international squad for upcoming friendlies against Norway and Ecuador, sparking hope he will be fit for Sunday's Carabao Cup final.

The right-back missed Tuesday's Champions League last 16 second-leg victory over Bayer Leverkusen at the Emirates Stadium after hobbling off in the 2-0 triumph over Everton last weekend.

Timber appeared to pick up an ankle issue during the first half against the Toffees and while he was initially able to battle on, he was eventually forced off before the interval.

The former Ajax man was also seen holding his adductor prior to the substitution and Mikel Arteta is yet to provide any clarity on the problem despite indicating Timber has a chance of making this weekend's showpiece Wembley showdown.
