Everything you need to know about Arsenal injuries and suspensions after a 2-1 Premier League loss to Aston Villa
- Arsenal suffer second loss of the season: Gunners fans will be disheartened after suffering a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa on the road on Saturday afternoon - goals from Matty Cash and Emi Buendia nullifying Leandro Trossard's strike. It's just the second loss of the season for Arsenal, after August's 1-0 loss to Liverpool.
- Cristhian Mosquera ruled out for 'weeks': The centre-half appeared to pick up an injury during Arsenal's midweek clash with Brentford, and was completely omitted from Mike Arteta's squad at Villas Park. Speaking after the match, the Spanish tactician said of Mosquera: "He's going to be out for weeks. Unfortunately, it's much more than what we expected, the way he was feeling. He's going to be out for weeks."
- Riccardo Calafiori to miss Wolves match: As a result of picking up his fifth yellow of the season against Aston Villa, Calafiori will miss Arsenal's match against Wolves next weekend due to FIFA's disciplinary rules.
- Gabriel still on the side-lines: After picking up an adductor injury while representing Brazil on international duty last month, Gabriel is not expected to return to action for Arsenal until later this month.
- William Saliba closing in on return: William Saliba picked up a knock in training ahead of Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Chelsea at the end of November. He is still yet to return for Arteta's side, but could be in contention for Wednesday's Champions League fixture with Club Brugge.
- Kai Havertz still waiting in the wings: The German has missed out on the action since August as a result of undergoing knee surgery. He's also not expected to return until later this month. Read the full story here.
- Up next for Arsenal: Up next for the Gunners is a Champions League clash with Club Brugge come Wednesday, December 10. Arsenal will then face Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday, December 13.
