football.london reporters Tom Canton and Ryan Taylor have their go at selecting Arsenal's starting XI for the FA Cup fourth-round clash against Wigan Athletic

Arsenal are back in action on Sunday when they host 2013 winners Wigan Athletic in FA Cup action.

The Latics are currently manager-less, therefore, their trip to the Emirates Stadium is somewhat of a free hit.

For the Gunners, this game is about bouncing back to winning ways following Thursday night's 1-1 draw with Brentford in the Premier League.

It's also a crucial opening for several squad players to muscle their way back into the picture ahead of the gruelling run-in.

With that in mind, football.london reporters Tom Canton (chief Arsenal correspondent) and Ryan Taylor have had their go at selecting their starting XIs.

I feel very odd about the FA Cup following the success of already having reached the final of the Carabao Cup and the clear priorities of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

For this game against League One Wigan, with all due respect, even with the injuries, Arsenal have the depth and the quality to make wholesale changes and still go through. I would be making rafts of switches and giving a chance to the likes of Marli Salmon in this clash.

Ben White and Cristhian Mosquera can hold the back two positions with Riccardo Calafiori aided in his recovery with more minutes here. Christian Norgaard comes in and allows Lewis-Skelly to play in midfield with Eberechi Eze.

While up top will be Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli. This should be a straightforward win and allow plenty of rest ahead of a big week away at Wolves and Tottenham next week.

Canton’s Arsenal XI vs Wigan Athletic: Kepa; Salmon, White, Mosquera, Calafiori; Norgaard, Lewis-Skelly, Eze; Madueke, Jesus, Martinelli.

Ryan Taylor

It's a shame Max Dowman is not fit and that Ethan Nwaneri is out on loan because both would surely start this contest.

It's time for Arsenal to take a break from the Premier League title race and they should enjoy the chance to enjoy Sunday's FA Cup tie against Wigan.

Mikel Arteta will get the chance to rotate and I want to see Marli Salmon given a chance at centre-back alongside Cristian Mosquera.

Outside of that, Kepa Arrizabalaga starts in goal for me with Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori making up the back-four.

In midfield, Christian Norgaard starts as the No.6 and Myles Lewis-Skelly should be unleashed in midfield with Ebere Eze as the No.10.

He needs to get firing again following his poor showing in midweek and this could be the perfect game to do just that.

The attack somewhat picks itself with Noni Madueke the only survivor from Thursday, joining Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus in attack.

Taylor's Arsenal XI vs Wigan Athletic: Kepa; White, Salmon, Mosquera, Calafiori; Norgaard, Lewis-Skelly, Eze; Madueke, Jesus, Martinelli.
