Here is how Arsenal's loan players fared last week as Ismeal Kabia impressed in the FA Cup with Shrewsbury Town

Arsenal loanee Ismeal Kabia hopes to draw the Gunners in the FA Cup after helping Shrewsbury Town reach the third round.

The 19-year-old Dutch-born winger has been a major hit in Shropshire so far this season and now he's eyeing a fairytale storyline, even if it's not yet clear whether he would even be eligible to feature.

Kabia said after scoring in Shrewsbury's 2-1 win at National League side Sutton United: "Hopefully we do get Arsenal in the next round, it would be good.

"I'm very excited, we could get anyone. Hopefully one of the big teams to showcase our ability. We will give it a real good go.

"It's a very special competition. Anyone could deliver an upset, so it is something to look forward to."

The flying forward cut inside and slammed home a stoppage time equaliser for the EFL outfit, who went on to win the contest in extra-time.

Sutton finished the match with nine men while Shrewsbury were also a man down when Kabia equalised.

The FA Cup third round draw is scheduled to take place on TNT Sports at around 6:40pm on Monday evening.

Elsewhere where Arsenal's loan stars were concerned, Fabio Vieira scored a penalty for Hamburger SV in a midweek DFB Pokal shootout defeat to Holstein Kiel.

The Portuguese then provided an assist for Tottenham loanee Luka Vuskovic in Sunday's 3-2 Bundesliga win over Werder Bremen (Arsenal goalkeeper Karl Hein was on the bench).

Defender Jakub Kiwior was rested on Thursday evening as Porto were eliminated from the Taca da Liga to Vitoria SC.

Porto lost 3-1 on home soil but they bounced back in style at the weekend when Kiwior returned to the fold in the 2-0 win at Tondela.

The Dragons, who top the Primeira Liga, have now conceded just three goals in 13 league matches this term.

Reiss Nelson was not involved for Brentford in their 2-0 defeat at Tottenham while Oleksandr Zinchenko remains sidelined for Nottingham Forest.

Albanian defender Maldini Kacurri played the full game as Morecambe lost 3-0 to Boston United at home in the National League.

Lucas Nygaard was not in action for Danish second division side Brabrand as they are currently on a winter break.

Academy starlet Cam'ron Ismail was beaten by Walton & Hersham in the Isthmian League while young centre-forward Daniel Oyetunde has returned to Arsenal U21s following a loan spell with St Albans City.
