ARSENAL 0-0 LIVERPOOL: Gunners' player performances rated after Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal dropped points for only the second time at home all season as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Liverpool.
Despite plenty of Arsenal pressure early in the game, the first big chance fell to the visitors. A mistake between David Raya and William Saliba opened up the chance for Conor Bradley to chip the Spaniard but it thankfully hit the crossbar and bounced out.
Liverpool took control of the game in the second half as Arsenal uncharacteristically lost some of their usual composure. The Gunners couldn't find a way to goal besides a Madueke cross with no suitors.
Here is how football.london rated the performances of the Arsenal players:
David Raya – Did really well in the end to deal with Saliba’s last-minute touch despite getting caught out. 7
Jurrien Timber – Had an early run in behind which he couldn’t find the cross for, instead firing into the arms of Alisson. Was always running beyond the right winger but was given one of his toughest tests defensively of the season in the right back role. 7
William Saliba – Thinking Raya was further than he was, Saliba tapped the ball back when the Spaniard was ready to collect, leading the Bradley chance. 6
Gabriel – Brought the calmness that the back four needed during some chaotic moments throughout the game. 7
Piero Hincapie – Had to come off early in the second half with an injury and had endured a difficult evening on the left, especially in his distribution which had Arteta irate at times on the sideline. 5
Martin Zubimendi – Won some important duels in the middle of the field, but like many teammates, as Liverpool gained possession, his influence was stunted. 7
Declan Rice – Energetic as always and all over the field winning duels. The deliveries into the box were brilliant in the first half and deserved better end products. 7
Martin Odegaard – Despite his recent form, this was a quiet game for the skipper and despite some good combinations in the first half he was isolated when Liverpool took control of the ball in the second half. 5
Bukayo Saka – Great technical flair from the winger to give Kerkez nightmares, and he nearly found an opening inside 16 minutes, but the pass wasn’t quite there. However, like Odegaard, without the ball, he was able to do very little and was replaced. 6
Viktor Gyokeres – Outside of a nice flick round the corner for Timber to create a chance for Rice just before half-time, we’re stretching for positives in another ineffective overall display. 4
Leandro Trossard – Was booked early in the game after hauling down Florian Wirtz to prevent a counter. Couldn’t find his way through and on the booking, Arteta took him off midway through the second period. 5
Substitutes:
Myles Lewis-Skelly – Immediately came on to face Jeremie Frimpong and was easily beaten in the first one-on-one. Misplaced a pass into the middle of the pitch which nearly caused a Liverpool chance. 4
Gabriel Jesus – Replaced Viktor Gyokeres and was immediately more involved, linking play. Saw a headed shot on target caught by Alisson as he was stretching. 6
Gabriel Martinelli – Replaced Trossard and struggled to find a way to goal till late on when a shot was fired at Alisson from range. 5
Noni Madueke – Replaced Bukayo Saka and immediately found a brilliant ball across the box but no one was there to tap in at the back post. 6
Eberechi Eze – Replaced Martin Odegaard and unfortunately he too couldn’t find much impact in the game either. 5
