The final 2025/26 Premier League standings have been simulated and it is promising news for Arsenal supporters.
With only 16 games played and Christmas on the horizon, the title race remains wide open, but the Gunners have made a strong early claim.
If Mikel Arteta's side beat Everton on Saturday, they will be top of the table on Christmas Day. In Premier League history the team who has lead over the festive period has gone on to win the competition 17 out of 33 times.
However, hot on their heels are Manchester City and Aston Villa, who will be aiming for at least a top-four finish to secure Champions League qualification. Also in contention for European spots are Chelsea, Manchester United, current champions Liverpool - who have lagging behind to the surprise of many, and Sunderland.
Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Wolves and West Ham have had difficult starts to the season and could become the first existing Premier League clubs in three seasons to face relegation. Burnley, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are also in the mix.
