Arsenal press conference LIVE: Mikel Arteta on Eze goal and injury, Havertz and title boost

Mikel Arteta faced the media after his Arsenal side’s victory over Newcastle United to restore the Gunners’ position at the top of the Premier League table.

Eberechi Eze’s brilliant curling strike gave the Gunners the lead in the game after a neatly worked corner routine. Arteta will certainly be asked for an immediate update on what the issue is with Kai Havertz after he left the field with an injury.

Eze, however, had to be replaced after suffering what appeared to be an ankle problem. It was far from an ideal performance, but in the end, all that matters is the three points.
