Mikel Arteta faces the media ahead of Arsenal’s Carabao Cup final test against Manchester City. A first final the Gunners have been involved in since their FA Cup triumph in 2020.
Arsenal have a couple of injury concerns, including Martin Odegaard, but more recently, it's Jurrien Timber, who came off against Everton and missed the win over Bayer Leverkusen. Pep Guardiola, on the other hand, has a nearly full clean bill of health, missing only Josko Gvardiol from his squad.
That being said, Marc Guehi is cup-tied, having joined too late in the January transfer window to be involved, which will come as a blow to Arsenal’s opponents. With both sides the last two teams who can realistically win the Premier League title, there is also a question of the psychological benefit winning this game can have.
