Arsenal press conference LIVE: Mikel Arteta on Man Utd defeat, Zubimendi and the title race

Mikel Arteta faces the media following his Arsenal side’s painful home defeat , the first of the season, at the hands of Manchester United.

Arsenal took the lead when a touch from Lisandro Martinez beat his own goalkeeper following Martin Odegaard’s forced touch. However, a dire mistake from Martin Zubimendi gifted Bryan Mbeumo a chance to equalise, he was always going to take.

Minutes into the second half, Patrick Dorgu’s strike beat David Raya from range to give the visitors the lead. The Gunners thought they’d found a vital equaliser to see minutes later United’s lead restored courtesy of Matheus Cunha.
