Arsenal's next five Premier League fixtures compared to Man City and Liverpool in title race

Arsenal have won, once again, to put more pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City with contrasting Premier League fixtures on the schedule

Arsenal strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League table after a dominant win against Burnley. First-half goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice handed Mikel Arteta's side another three points to put them seven clear of any challengers for the time being.

Though Bournemouth and Sunderland are in the top-four, Manchester City and Liverpool are expected to be their closest challengers for the title, but they do not play until Sunday and Saturday evening, respectively.

As for the Gunners, all they can do is continue to beat the teams in front of them with that having been the case since late September with this result their fifth consecutive league win. Arsenal are understandably clear favourites for the title, though there are plenty of fixtures still to play.

With that in mind, football.london has taken a closer look at the next five matches awaiting Arsenal, Man City and the reigning champions.

Arsenal's next five Premier League fixtures

  • Sunderland vs Arsenal - November 8
  • Arsenal vs Tottenham - November 23
  • Chelsea vs Arsenal - November 30
  • Arsenal vs Brentford - December 3
  • Aston Villa vs Arsenal - December 6

Arsenal are, again, back on their travels at a newly-promoted team next weekend, but it should be a much more competitive clash when they face Sunderland. After the international break, it is back-to-back London derbies as the Gunners take on Tottenham and Chelsea.

The first midweek league encounter of the season then comes as Arsenal host Brentford before they travel up to Aston Villa a few days later.

Liverpool kick off their run of next five games where Arsenal end theirs, with Arne Slot's side facing Villa at Anfield this evening. A trip to fellow title rivals Man City follows that with a game against Nottingham Forest coming after the two-week domestic pause.

West Ham and Sunderland await the holders after that with six points needing to be the target.

Man City close out the weekend's action at home to Bournemouth - before hosting Liverpool in their final game before a fortnight off.
