The January transfer window is officially open for business this month. Arsenal closed out 2025 in style with a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa, extending their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points.
Manchester City, though, have the chance to trim that advantage to two when they face Sunderland on New Year's Day. Off the pitch, several players continue to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, with Antoine Semenyo reportedly yet to decide his future.
Both City and Arsenal are admirers of the 25-year-old, but the Gunners were only keen on a summer move rather than pursuing a deal this winter.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are monitoring teenage midfield talent Ayyoub Bouaddi, with reports suggesting they are currently 'at the front of the queue' for a potential deal.
