Welcome to football.london's live blog, bringing you all the latest Arsenal transfer updates for Friday, August 15.

The Premier League is finally back, with Arsenal's rivals Liverpool taking on Bournemouth at Anfield this evening (8pm). Arsenal will play Manchester United on Sunday (4:30pm) at Old Trafford.

Off the pitch, it has been an active summer for the Gunners, with six signings coming through the door.

Viktor Gyokeres was the latest player to join Christian Norgaard, Cristhian Mosquera, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke. Eberechi Eze remains a major possibility to become a seventh addition before the summer transfer window closes on September 1.

On the departures front, Arsenal still have plenty of work ahead, with Albert Sambi Lokonga, Fabio Vieira, Karl Hein, and Reiss Nelson all potential exits. There’s also a possibility that Gabriel Martinelli, Jakub Kiwior, Leandro Trossard, and Oleksandr Zinchenko could be on the move.

Eberechi Eze latest

According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham are prepared to open formal talks with Crystal Palace for the signing of Eze.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, but the Lilywhites look set to hijack a deal.

The report claims that Eze would be keen a move to Spurs if they the two Premier League clubs can agree on a fee. The England international, who sees his contract at Selhurst Park expire in June 2027, has helped the Eagles win the FA Cup and the Community Shield this year.
