Arsenal won their first game of the 2025/26 Premier League season on Sunday afternoon with a narrow 1-0 victory at Manchester United thanks to Riccardo Calafiori's header.

Mikel Arteta's men were far from their best at Old Trafford and were fortunate that David Raya pulled off a number of smart saves. Viktor Gyokeres also made his competitive debut for the Gunners, showing some promising signs of what's to come this season.

Away from the pitch, the transfer window now has just two weeks left and the Gunners remain in the market for more additions. Arteta has signed six players thus far, but a move for another attacker continues to be tipped.

Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo are two players that have been mentioned in the past but Tottenham and Manchester City are both understood to be plotting moves before the window closes for business.

There's still time for Arsenal to make another signing, too. We'll bring you the latest transfer rumours coming out of north London.
