While he won't be involved in the game, all the talk among Arsenal fans is sure to be on the arrival of striker Viktor Gyokeres. The long-awaited transfer was finally confirmed last night, with the Sweden international putting pen-to-paper on a five-year deal at the Emirates Stadium.

He will now make the journey to Asia to join up with his new teammates, and he could potentially be involved in Thursday's friendly match against North London rivals Tottenham.

Gyokeres' transfer has prompted a lot of excitement, but Arsenal might not be done there in the transfer window. The Gunners have been heavily linked with an interest in Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze.

There is of course possible outgoings, as well, with Fulham in advanced talks over a deal for Reiss Nelson. Forward Gabriel Jesus has also been linked with a move away.
