Arsenal transfer news: Man City battle emerges as 'talks held' for Champions League ace

Arsenal aren't expected to be particularly active in the January transfer window, but the north Londoners could take major steps to prepare for a busy summer, instead.

Despite splashing out around £250million this summer on key signings; including striker Viktor Gyokeres, wingers Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze, as well as midfielder Martin Zubimendi, Arsenal are anticipated to have a quieter January transfer window.
