Arsenal take on Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League last-16 on Tuesday evening, looking to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the third straight season. Waiting for them is one of Sporting CP or Bodo Glimt although the latter go into their meeting with a three goal advantage.
The Gunners have no such lead having drawn 1-1 in Germany last week. Mikel Arteta therefore knows that unless he wishes to endure another penalty shootout at this stage only a win will suffice.
Leandro Trossard has returned to the fold whereas Jurrien Timber and Martin Odegaard are both out of the affair alongside Mikel Merino. Kasper Hjulmand oversaw an impressive 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich at the weekend and will be bringing plenty of momentum into the meeting in north London.
