It was a forgettable return to north London for Harry Kane as Bayern Munich were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal in the Champions League.

The German giants got themselves level in the first half through Lennart Karl after Jurrien Timber had opened the scoring.

But Bayern were unable to get themselves ahead and paid a heavy price for a lack of energy as Arsenal's subs Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli found the target in the second half.

Here is how the Bayern players rated at the Emirates.

Looked shaky all evening. No man's land for the third goal. Not his best evening. 4

Konrad Laimer

Booked for fouling Bukayo Saka. 5

Dayot Upamecano

One of Bayern's better players but still struggled when Arsenal ran in behind. 6

Physical and stuck a foot in but a tough evening against Arsenal's electric forwards. 6

Did well to recover after nearly allowing Bukayo Saka to burst through on goal. 6
