Benjamin Sesko has played a pivotal role in Michael Carrick's current reign as Manchester United boss, and the striker has made his true thoughts on the manager known
Benjamin Sesko has let slip what he really thinks of Manchester United manager Michael Carrick. The former United midfielder took over from Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford last month until the end of this season.
After being appointed in the interim, Carrick remains unbeaten during his second spell at the helm of United. He won his first four matches in charge against Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham before a 1-1 draw against West Ham.
The hero in that latest stalemate was Sesko, whose sublime finish rescued a point from the bench. He was also on target in the dying moments against Fulham and helped his side secure a 3-2 victory.
Sesko, who only arrived in Manchester over the summer for a whopping £74million, was asked about how he has settled in under Carrick. The 22-year-old did not mince his words.

"He's an amazing person," said Sesko, speaking on United's official YouTube channel. "That's already meaning a lot really. But as well he is a really good coach.
"Not just him. The whole staff that has come in with him. They are working unbelievably. They are giving all the details that you need to improve and to get better. And the details to know what to do in a game, because it's important.

"They are also always good with communicating. He and all the other staff. So I am really happy that he came here and also happy about what he has achieved."
Carrick repaid Sesko's kind words in his post-match press conference after the 1-1 draw against the Hammers. The manager heaped praise on his striker after an exceptional finish in the closing stages.
"It's always a balance," said Carrick when asked about introducing Sesko from the bench. "The boys who have played have done fantastically well.
"That's the importance of the group, I say it after every game. Ben is doing a lot of work, he is in a really good place and he is ready to kick on.
"It's managing the balance. We could have changed things earlier, but when he came on he made a big difference. It was an unbelievable finish.
"From that angle, to generate that and to get it on target, it's some finish. He is capable of that. But it's not like he has suddenly burst onto the scene, he has proven he scores goals.
"He does it in training. The last one [a winner against Fulham] would have done him the world of good, but that was a big moment for him and for us."
