The latest Chelsea transfer news with the Blues' business heating up before Monday evening's deadline
Strasbourg are set to sign Aaron Anselmino on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the season. The 20-year-old defender was recalled from his loan at Borussia Dortmund last weekend with the Blues considering their options at the back, but is now set to join their sister club for the rest of the campaign.
Dortmund wanted to sign Anselmino on a permanent basis with the defender impressing during the first half of the season, though Chelsea see the Argentine as part of their plans going forward. The Blues then decided to pull the plug on his loan at Signal Iduna Park and he has now been sent to sister club Strasbourg instead to continue his development.
Chelsea are still considering their situation in the centre of defence. Talks over bringing Mamadou Sarr, on loan at Strasbourg, back to Stamford Bridge are understood to be continuing with a break clause in the Senegal international's contract with the French club. Sarr was a significant part of Liam Rosenior's team during their time together in France.

Talks are continuing with Rennes over a deal to sign Jeremy Jacquet. Rennes are reluctant to lose the 20-year-old defender during the mid-season window and would prefer a deal to be struck in the summer, while Liverpool are also said to be in the race for the Frenchman.
Elsewhere, Chelsea winger Tyrique George is a target for Everton. The Toffees want to sign the 19-year-old before Monday evening's deadline on a loan deal until the end of the season.
David Moyes is hopeful Everton will strengthen before the window closes. When asked on Sunday afternoon whether he thought there could be any incomings at the Hill Dickinson Stadium before the deadline, Moyes replied: "Yes, I do."
Axel Disasi could also still leave this window. The out-of-favour Frenchman is a target for West Ham United, who want to sign him on loan, and AC Milan.
